Day 1


Arrive in Hanoi and be welcomed by the guide and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2

Hanoi City tour

Get a glimpse of Hanoi’s historical and cultural wonders. See the beautiful Temple of Literature, iconic One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, and more. Get a dose of local culture with a walk through the bustling Old Quarter and catch a brilliant performance of traditional water puppetry.

Today’s tour begins at 08:30. Set off on a full-day guided tour of Hanoi. Begin with a visit to West Lake to admire the sixth-century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda.

Next up is a short drive to the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Witness locals paying homage to the historic father figure of modern Vietnam, and experience the unique reverence that takes place here. Take a short walk to Ho Chi Minh’s former house, which is built on stilts. Here, Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 to 1969 as he orchestrated the movement that eventually lead to the Vietnam’s independence. Walk around the quiet grounds while learning about Ho Chi Minh’s life and legacy. Optionally, take a tour of the nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Built in 1049, it’s one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples.

Afterwards, Hanoi adventure continues with a visit to the famed Temple of Literature. Wander around this incredible compound which was constructed in 1076. Become fascinated with the stories of the building and get a glimpse of the past when it served as a university and temple.

Afterward, head over to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (close on Monday). Here, browse informative exhibitions displaying artefacts and infographics that portray the remarkable diversity of Vietnam’s ethnic communities. Meanwhile, take a look at view traditional costumes on display which represent each of the ethnic groups. As an alternative to the Ethnology Museum, visit the highly-acclaimed Vietnamese Women’s Museum.

The museum is located near Hoan Kiem Lake and offers wonderful insight into the lives and heritage of Vietnamese women. Learn historic and modern-day traditions centered around births, weddings, motherhood, spirituality and more.
Drop by a train street to see the daily life still remained from the past while catching some photo of a train passing by if you are there at the right moment or try on a 15 minute train ride from Gia Lam to Long Bien stations to recall the past facts of Hanoi. Alternatively enjoy street coffee that is a signature cultural activity of Hanoi, sitting at one of those street side cafes to enjoy a cup of milk coffee while watching the world go by has its charm, it doesn’t quite scratch our itches for some instagrammable pictures to share on social media.

Finish the day with a walking tour through Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter. This area of 36 narrow streets is a lively place to walk around while seeing and learning about Vietnam’s traditional ways of life. Continue through the busy Hang Be Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake. Day 3

Halong Bay - overnight cruise - 180km/ 3hrs

Escape from the buzz of Hanoi with an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Be surrounded by stunning views of limestone karsts rising dramatically from the Bay’s deep blue waters. Watch the sun set from the ship’s deck and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves lapping against the boat.

Following breakfast leave Hanoi for a 4-hour drive to Halong Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way. Arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities.
After the welcome onboard, be served with lunch while cruising towards the bay.
In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

Day 4

Halong Bay - Hai Phong - Flight to Danang

Breakfast, brunch included

Enjoy a fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Halong in the morning and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruises slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi or Haiphong for a short flight to Danang. Up on arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An/ Danang.

Day 5

Danang - Bana Hills & Golden Bridge

Spend the day on the beautiful mountainous theme park. Marvel at the exquisite architecture of the Linh Ung Pagoda, Golden Bridge. Feeling refreshingly cool weather and gorgeous countryside views, and enjoy exciting games at Fantasy theme park on top of Ba Na hill.

Your experience today starts at 08:30 for 1 hour transfer from your hotel to Ba Na Hills. Start to spend a day to visit this mountainous theme park perched 1,500m high on a mountain, a hill resort inherited from the French. The site was first developed by the French in the 1920s, who escaped the summer heat for its cool, mountain air.

This day trip will bring you to the scenic sights and destinations of the local, and give you a healthy dose of much needed mountain air. You’ll first head to the Ba Na Hills cable car station where you ascend one of the world’s longest and highest cable car rides, giving you panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. At the station, get to see the Linh Ung Pagoda, Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion. Next, your guide will bring you the Monkey garden and finally to God Mountain, the highest peak in central Vietnam. Stroll through the Golden Bridgeamid the foggy hills of the mountain, enjoy the gorgeous view of Da Nang city. After lunch, head into Fantasy Park for enjoy some games later.

Back to hotel at about 17:30. Overnight in Danang/ Hoi An.

Day 6

Danang/ Hoi An - departure

You are at leisure until pick up and transfer to Danang International Airport for your departure flight. Tour ends! Thank you for your choosing us and wish to see you again soon in our next tours.
